Fiesta Sports Foundation

GOVERNANCE

The Fiesta Sports Foundation is comprised of four tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporations: The Arizona Sports Foundation dba the Fiesta Bowl, Valley of the Sun Bowl Foundation, Fiesta Events, Inc. and The Arizona College Football Championship Foundation (collectively, the "Fiesta Bowl organization" or "organization").  The organization annually hosts the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, Rate Bowl and other statewide events.  The Fiesta Sports Foundation is entrusted with an important and worthy mission and is dedicated to supporting organizations that contribute to the success of their communities through youth, sports, education and human services.

The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl has hosted seven games that have decided the college football national championship, including four Bowl Championship Series title games. This season, the Fiesta Sports Foundation and its nearly 3,000 volunteers will host the Rate Bowl at Chase Field in Phoenix, and the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Fiesta Sports Foundation Board of Directors has adopted sweeping governance reforms to help ensure that the organization achieves, and continues to sustain, the very highest level of public trust.  The organization is focused on the core values of honesty and integrity as well as a commitment to fairness, openness, respect and responsibility.  We are devoted to doing the right thing in the right way and being any organization worthy of the utmost trust.  The following governance documents and policies promote transparency about our work and reinforce our commitment to the highest ethical and legal standards.
