Fiesta Sports Foundation

Brent Stoddard joined the Board of Directors in 2023 and is very familiar to the Fiesta Sports Foundation by virtue of his role in local government. Currently the assistant city manager for the City of Mesa, he previously served as deputy city manager for the City of Glendale. Stoddard interacted with the Fiesta Bowl regularly as a key liaison during his time with in Glendale, which began when he first joined the City's Government Relations Department in 2005.

He served as the City of Glendale's Government Relations Director from 2010-16 and became the Public Affairs Director in June 2016, before elevating to deputy city manager in 2019. Stoddard also served the Arizona League of Cities and Towns, the State of Arizona School Facilities Board and the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics.
